Craig Lodge Family House of Prayer is Catholic Retreat Centre in the village of Dalmally,
set amongst the beautiful hills and lochs of Argyll, Scotland.  It is run by Craig Lodge Community.  We offer a varied programme of organised retreats, but we are also
delighted to welcome guests who just want to enjoy a quiet few days of prayer
and reflection. Craig Lodge is often described by guests as, “A home from home”.

Community
Living at Craig Lodge are a group of people who have decided to help each other
answer Our Lady's call to holiness at Medjugorje.  Some have chosen to give up a year
to live at Craig Lodge to grow closer to God through living a simple life based on prayer - and offering hospitality to those who come to our door.  Some are families or single
people who live nearby and join in the prayer life and work of Craig Lodge. To find out more about Craig Lodge Community and how you can join please contact the house.

Mary’s Meals
Craig Lodge shares its site with the famous Mary’s Meals charity (founded by Magnus MacFarlane Barrow) which provides meals for children in schools in the Third world.
By using local produce and volunteers they operate very cheaply and encourage
children to attend school (see this page and also  http://www.craiglodge.org/marys-meals).

Prayer for Mary’s Meals
Our Father
give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us for the times when
we take more than our share of
the bread that belongs to all.
Let us help You fill the starving
with good things
not with scraps from our table.
Teach us how to share what is not
ours to keep.
Clothe us with Your love
that we may complete each good
work you created us to do.
Place in our hearts Your
compassion for each starving child

and use our little acts of love so
that they starve no more.
Amen

Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow
